Around the corner from you are two great restaurants, The Dock Box and Mr. Ed's. Mr. Ed's, is a younger crowd, good food and music. Across the street is the The Dock Box Restaurant, good food, music, patio, beach, Tiki Hut and nightly bonfires on the beach.
If you want a excellent Perch or Walleye Dinner, I would suggest Jolly Roger Seafood House or CATCH YOUR OWN :) Turn EAST going out of the Complex, 1.5 mi on left IS Jolly Roger. Super Walmart is 4 miles passed Jolly Roger on right side. Across the street beside the Drawbridge are "WALK-ON" HEAD BOATS and PRIVATE CHARTERS, Good Luck Fishing!!!
You don't want to miss the Famous Cheese Haven (OHIO'S LARGEST CHEESE AND SMOKED MEAT SHOP). They are known for their 125 different variety of natural cheeses (free samples :-). Turn EAST out of the complex on Lakeshore Dr. which turns into Rt.163. Approximately 5 miles you will come to Intersection Rt.53, Shipwreck Restaurant (nice atmosphere and good food) on right, Cheese Haven behind it.
Casa Las Palmas, has Great Mexican Food, Excellent Margaritas and a Fun Place located at 4000 E. Harbor Light Landing Dr. Same directions as Cheese Haven, turn right at Rt 53, restaurant on left apx 1 mile.

If your a "History Buff", Johnson's Island is for you. Johnson's Island is a 300-acre island in Sandusky Bay, located on the coast of Lake Erie, 3 miles (5 km) from the city of Sandusky, Ohio. It was the site of a prisoner-of-war camp for Confederate officers captured during the American Civil War. Johnson's Island was the only Union prison exclusively for Southern officers but it also held regular soldiers. During its three years of operation, more than 15,000 men were incarcerated there. Also historic Perry's Monument, Marblehead Lighthouse, Kellys Island's Glacier Grooves and Mon Ami's Winery, all described below.
GIDEON OWEN WINE COMPANY (formerly MON AMI RESTAURANT AND HISTORIC WINERY) is one of the oldest wineries in the Lake Erie Islands region. The winery is of further significance as one of the four large co-operative wineries which played an important role in the development of the region's wine industry. The NEW Gideon Owen Wine Company website is live and they are excited to announce that they are officially OPENED June 2, 2020! Live entertainment on Thru, Fri, Sat and Sun (outside bands) bring lawn chairs. Check out their website. Turn left out of complex, Lakeshore Dr (SR 163) drive 4.5 mi to Rt 53. Drive passed GIDEON OWEN TO ORCHARD RESTAURANT & BAR on left, outside patio, rave reviews on food. We have never tried it but plan on it this year.

Visit Historic Perry's Monument, on 10 September 1813, Master Commandant Oliver Hazard Perry won one of the biggest victories in the War of 1812. In 1912 the construction of a 352-ft. memorial in his honor began; in 1936 it became part of the National Park System and was declared a National Monument by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Visitors can take an elevator up 317 ft. to the observation deck, where they can see the Lake Erie Islands and the shores of Michigan, Ohio and Ontario. During the summer season, park rangers give talks and living history demonstrations complete with period uniforms and a firing demonstration on the memorial's plaza. Stop by the Perry Victory Visitors Center to see a 15-minute movie about the War of 1812. Historic Perry's Monument is 47ft taller than the Statue of Liberty.
Kellys Island is the LARGEST FRESH WATER ISLAND in the United States. Tour the prehistoric natural wonder, WORLD FAMOUS GLACIER GROOVES, the only ones left in the entire world. The Glacial Grooves State Park is the largest and most spectacular example of glacial grooves, Walk the perimeter of this international study site to view a 400 foot by 35 foot wide gash of prehistoric glacial grooves scoured into native limestone bedrock by the advancement of the Wisconsin glacier 30,000 years ago. Signs of the island's era as an Indian hunting ground remain on the Inscription Rock State Memorial. This flat-topped limestone boulder on the south shore of Kelleys Island has faint pictographs of men, birds and animals carved by the Erie Indians 300-400 years ago. Kelly Island is a laid-back quaint Island. Rent a golf cart, bikes or scooter and drive around the Island and view the beautiful homes. Butterfly House, winery, camp, swim, unique shops and wonderful restaurants and bands. The Jet Express ferry service will transport you to Kelly Island or Put-In-Bay or Island hop to both or you can catch the Kellys Island Ferry out of Marblehead that will transport your car or bike to the Island.
Visit Marblehead with it's many specialty shops, Historic Marblehead Lighthouse (The Oldest Working Lighthouse on the Great Lakes), the Art Gallery of Ben Richmond (nationally known artist, author, and sculptor). Visit the quaint village of Lakeside or Johnson's Island with its Historic Confederate Cemetery.
Cedar Point Amusement Park (THE ROLLER COASTER CAPITAL OF THE WORLD!!!) 35 min east of the Condo. Take Rt 2 east to Rt 101 north, turn right on Monroe St, Monroe becomes 1st St which takes you to the Cedar Point Causeway.
African Safari is a GREAT attraction for the family, very interactive with the animals. Drive-Thur Park where you can feed animals from your car. Walk-Thur Safari is a more typical zoo setting which features a rare white alligator exhibit, pig races, pony & camel rides and educational animal shows using a variety of animals including a 6' python. Discount tickets on internet. Take Lakeshore Dr/Rt 163 EAST drive apx 5 miles, signs on right.
Monsoon Lagoon Water Park, unlimited go-kart, putt-putt golf, bumper boats, 2 tower slides. Online specials. Take Lakeshore Dr/Rt 163 to Rt 2, (2nd exit) exit 125, turn left, 3 miles. Two other Waterparks are in Sandusky (20 min east). Kalahari is a Safari Indoor/Outdoor Adventure Park. The Great Wolf Lodge features one of the largest indoor Waterparks in Ohio.

Crane Creek State Park
Located on the scenic shore of Lake Erie, Crane Creek State Park offers a vast freshwater marsh and beautiful sandy beach for enjoyment. This state park is home to more than 300 species of birds. Herons, waterfowl, warblers, gulls and the magnificent bald eagle make this park one of the best Birdwatching areas in the country. (30 min west of Port Clinton)

Magee Marsh Wildlife Area
Visit the Sportsman's Migratory Bird Center, walk the boardwalk trails, and climb the observation tower. Open year-round. Route 2, 17 miles west of Port Clinton.
Cleveland is 1 1/2 hr east, Route 2, from the Condo and has several attractions Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame & Museum, Great Lake Science Center, Cleveland Botanical Garden, Cleveland Metropark Zoo with Rainforest, Cleveland Museum.
Please bring your own lawn chairs if you want to sit on the beach or lawn overlooking, Beautiful Lake Erie and Islands while watching the Spectacular Sunsets. Community charcoal grills are provided for your pleasure (charcoal is not provided).
